Looks like we lost the weight up-date discussion some how.
I enjoyed checking into it every now and then, so I decided to make a vol. 2.
Charlie was 13.7lb @ 10 1/2 wks, 19.7lb @ 15wks, 22.3 lb @ 16 wks, 30lb @ 23 wks, and now 35lb @ 27 wks.
I actually thought a couple of weeks ago we should have gotten one of the boys and named him Clifford. Emily's full name is Emily Elizabeth. How perfect would it have been to have Emily Elizabeth and our Golden Doodle, Clifford. Works for me, but not now. Some other time.:0)
Webster was 10 lbs @ 6wks, 21 lbs @ 10 wks, and now he's 35 lbs @ 17 wks old standing 20 inches tall. He came from a litter of 10 and was in the lighter half of the litter. His mom is 55 lbs and dad is 70 lbs - I was hoping he'd be somewhere in between...........not lookin' good.....
I love Webster's coloring! You definately won't be getting a small boy. Maybe around 80 lbs. All of the standard goldendoodles I have seen have always been bigger than the parents. I wonder if it is always that way.?
They would make good play buddies, then. Angel just LOVES to play with other dogs. She sees one and immediately starts to instigate play, but usually the other dog is either too big or too small. Or on leash (she is too) which is no fun.
Harlow at 6 months weighed 41 pounds and was 21 inches at the shoulder. But that was 2 weeks ago. She looks taller now. I will weigh and measure her again this Sunday at Petsmart.
