I always wanted my dogs to be buried with ME..lol! I have the ashes of my two Rotties, 100lbs.+ and one Shih-tzu 12lbs. If Hannah 55 to 60lbs. and Honey about 35lbs. go before I do, that will make 5 dogs..lol. That caskets is really going to be something..lol. So I have decided to do this, take some Ashes from each dog and put them in one container to be buried with me. The delima is..what should I do with the rest of their remains...I honestly don't have a clue where I could feel they are happy and at peace. Suggestions Please....
I'm not sure if you are allowed to scatter ashes or not there...might get in trouble ...there is also a public pool right next door to the dog park..lol. Certainly can't at a nursing home..and dog school is out of the mix also...is a hard decission...

Are you in your forever home now? I am waiting for that myself, and would like to plant a tree, or rose bush in honor of each one and spread their ashes as I plant each growing memorial.
Nope not really, we are apartment living...I love the idea of having them together and a growing memorial....and I don't want them in a pet cemetary, that I do know...thank you for the ideas....
We planted a tree and called the trees by their names. Even though we have moved from that farm, they still live on the place they were happiest and make the new owners happy with the shade of the trees.
We spread the ashes of my two lovely goldens at their favorite spot -- an off-leash dog park on Puget Sound. We were living in the Pacific Northwest, and chose a typical "Seattle Drizzling" winter day. We drank a bottle of champagne and told stories about each dog at his or her "funeral" and then spread the ashes over the water. We still have the ashes from our standard poodle who died last year, but now that we have another dog, I think I'm ready to let go of them. Perhaps when we take our boat out on the Chesapeake . . .
