Weight Up-Date vol.2

Looks like we lost the weight up-date discussion some how.
I enjoyed checking into it every now and then, so I decided to make a vol. 2.
Charlie was 13.7lb @ 10 1/2 wks, 19.7lb @ 15wks, 22.3 lb @ 16 wks, 30lb @ 23 wks, and now 35lb @ 27 wks.

Harlow is now 6 1/2 months, 43 pounds and 22 inches.

Is there some place that you can weigh and measure them at Petsmart? Just your's or all of them? Curious, I didn't know about this.

Harlow is now almost 8 months and seems to be holding steady at 43 pounds and 22 inches

Finn is an australian labradoodle with a medium mother and a large (not huge-I met him) father. The breeder thought Finn would be about 55lbs. This is hoew he is growing so far

34 lbs @ 21 wks and 22 " wiggly inches at the shoulder as best I can measure :)

Motta is now 20 weeks and 47 lbs.. he gained 12 lbs in the last 4 weeks!!! Miley his sister is 37 lbs and only gained 7 in that same 4 weeks! I wonder if her spay had anything to do with the low weight gain? Motta's gonna be a big boy!!

Cimmy is going to be a lot smaller than her brothers and from those females in last year's litter, same parentage. At 16 wks she weighed in at 30 lbs. That puts her at 70 lbs as an adult. Nice size, but I was prepared for 80 or so.

My new pup Brewster was 25.6 lbs. and 17 in. at 12 weeks (last week). His mom seemed tall to me but not that heavy, and his dad is about 50 lbs. Plus, he has huge paws! I think I might have a big boy on my hands! LOL That's OK, I love big dogs!

Today Angel is 4 months old. She is now 33lbs. If the formula holds true, I should have 76lbs of adorable, loving puppy dog when she's grown into her paws...

I don't know what the formula is for puppies. But if 30 lbs at 16 wks goes to 70 lb. as an adult and 33 lbs at 16 wks goes to 76 lb. as an adult, that means it is about 2.3 times the 16 wk. weight for adult weight. I remember that they used to say that human children would end up double their 2 yr. height as an adult, and that was true for my son, but my dogs about tripled their 16 mo. weight as adults. So . . . what is that formula you are speaking about?

Double the weight at 4 months and add 10 lbs. That's supposedly tells you how big the dog will be as an adult. Lots of folks on here have verified it works...but we shall see. =0)

I thought the formula was for 16 wks., double the weight and add 10 lbs. If I wait until next week when she is officially 4 months then Cimmy will be about 33 or 34 lbs, also. Had her weighed today at the vet because she is sick. Has gained more than a pound and a half in a couple of days. However, her food intake as slowed because of the illness., so the weight thing will be a bit off. Oh, my if you are right Lynda. Some of us will have very big dogs indeed!!!! Thinking of some of Cimmy's brothers and half brothers. They were and are in the 40 lbs. rang at the 16 wks. mark! UGH!!!
