Hello Doodle Friends!

As most of you know, I have entered my mini australian labradoodle Taner in the cutest dog competition and I STILL need your help with votes! If we win the grand prize, we will donate to our local animal shelter here in Kenosha, WI, donate to IDOG and donate a free australian labradoodle puppy to a qualified family in need!

Are you actually going to screen the home?...In otherwords ...Are you turning a puppy over to just any schuck who happens to win the drawing without even investigating the potential home?..I strongly advise you to NOT go ahead with this plan to auction off a puppy......You could be turning a puppy over to a Class B animal dealer or a puppy mill or BYB breeder...or simply a horrible home......

I personally have to voice this, I will no longer be voting for Taner because I also do not feel it's right to offer up a puppy for votes. Not because that isn't something anyone of us could not offer to our voters, because if we won we clearly could purchase the pup of anyone's dream from a reputable breeder here on DK. I clearly thought most of us wanted to donate to charity and why we all are doing this. When I stated about a puppy purchase, this was for Gabby Jack Ranch to donate a puppy to a Child for Christmas who has a handicap and trained as a Service Dog. Donations to IDOG is strictly for rescue. I also offered $500. to friends voting if they won they could donate to a charity they wanted. This is all strictly for "CHARITY". I also think who ever entered this contest needs to go read the rules again....If you think your getting ONE MILLION...WRONG..lol, read the fine print. You get 33,000.00 a year for 30 years, and till taxes come out of that, and you pay to make apperances with your dog, what are you going to have left. Please all go read the terms of this contest if you think I'm wrong. I also have emailed this to all my friends on DK.

I'm afraid Denise's post (Honey and Hannah) is unfortunately a result of "sour grapes". Denise is trying to eliminate the competition for HER dog from winning this contest.
Nicole, your offer is extremely noble. As a responsible breeder I'm sure you won't be giving away one of your pups to just anyone who told you they voted daily, without checking their references. I'd hate to see you beautiful little doodle abused or exploited. I think that is Jackie's point. Good luck.

The intent of my offer was to provide a wonderful Australian Labradoodle to a qualified loving family that had a need for a puppy but could not afford one. My offer was simply an honest gesture of generosity. The notion or assumption that I would release any animal to an unscreened home or into any danger is preposterous.

One of the reasons I joined Doodlekisses personally, was to seek out the friendship, mentorship, and useful advice from other people that cared as much about animals as well as other people as I do.
Never in my wildest dreams did I envision that this would be a platform of negativity, false assumptions, ridicule, and verbal attacks.

I am very grateful for your diplomacy and appreciate the fact that you understood that my intentions of generosity were also responsible. Thank you.

For your information I didn't start this at all, this was brought to my attention the same as others here on DK with F. Parkers posting for all of us and than redoing it. Anyone can offer a dog from a better breeder from DK, there are litters born all the time on this site from more well known proven breeders, facts are facts...this all was suppose to be for Charity so if you want to support someone like this that is up to you...I clearly wont. In all honesty and reality I don't think any of us stand a chance to win when you have people on that site pulling in over 600 to 1500 some votes in a week? There are pleanty of people who support Honey on this site and the only sour grapes are from you...

As a point of clarification in case there is any misconception about Doodle Kisses:

Doodle Kisses does NOT endorse or screen any individual breeder or breeding program. We believe in responsible breeding but any breeder is permitted to post sales ads in our puppies for sale groups provided they give information about health testing and other facts about their program--but we do not verify if their information is accurate or ask for proof. This is up to the buyer.

So there are not 'litters born all the time on this site' as there is no site breeder or criteria for breeders to join our site as a whole. While breeders may belong to DK, breeders are not "from DK" in that they did not originate with this site...DK has not created any breeding programs. We are a social network for doodle owners (which includes breeders), not a breeding program of any kind. Any breeder endorsements you see here are endorsements from individual members, NOT Doodle Kisses as a whole.

I think you should really read my comment above, I don't think there are any sour grapes from me...only told the truth...it's not hurting Me or Honey in anyway, all we clearly wanted to do from the start was donate to IDOG and Gabby Jack Ranch...how can that be trying to eliminate competition..lmao. Any promises from myself were clearly all made for Charity, we have NO GAIN...NONE...
