Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Our member, Lynda Kamrath, has started a new business in the past year where she prints photos onto canvas. She would like to give away a free canvas print to one lucky winner! Photos are printed on canvas, mounted with a gallery wrap, and shipped to your home address. Finished size is about 15 x 20 inches.

Here are a couple photos of what the finished product will look like:

To enter for your chance to win your doodle(s) photo on canvas, you must respond to this announcement by posting a photo and writing a few words that answer the question:

"How did YOUR doodle beat the heat this summer?"

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE RULES BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR RESPONSE :-)

Your response to the contest discussion must contain:
1) Photo of your doodle(s) EMBEDDED **INTO the discussion (not an attachment to your response) -- if you don't have your doodle yet, well...use a photo that makes sense. If you aren't sure how to insert a photo into a response, click here for instructions!! I would love ALL members to learn how to do this so nobody has to add photo attachments at the bottom of their posts when sharing photos.

2) A few words to tell us about how your labradoodle or goldendoodle or (___adoodle) beat the heat this summer

3) BOTH the photo and your text need to be in the SAME response (not separated into two responses). NOTE: Try, if you are able, to resize your photos (if they are larger than 600 pixels) so they don't take forever to load.

4) Only ONE entry per member.

5) Contest will end on Sunday, Sept 20th at NOON, Pacific Standard Time.

DETERMINATION OF WINNER: The winner will be determined out of all entries via a drawing at the end of the contest time. The photo you use in your response does not have to be the photo you have printed onto canvas. The photo for the actual prize will be decided upon between you and Lynda.

Thanks Lynda for your generosity and GOOD LUCK everyone!!!

Dakota and Choco like to go into the Lake to cool off.

Doolin is our Goldendoodle and he escapes the heat of the summer by "kickin' back" and rockin' the day away in front of the tv with the a/c running! He has the right idea, doesn't he?

So cute!!!
OMGoodness that is so precious.

I am Blue and this was my first summer in Canada. It was very hot and thanks to my family I was allowed to lay on the cool leather couch ever so often. My little turtle pool kept my paws and belly quite fresh although fleas and mosquitos liked it too. I was stung by a wasp and i decided it was safer on the concrete patio. Next year I'll be older and wiser for sure and usually it rains in Vancouver anyways I am told......

It was Lily's (F2b labradoodle) first summer with us, and her first time swimming in anything but a plastic kiddie pool. After a hesitant sniffing of the lake, she ran right in once her idol, Cody (the black Portuguese Water Dog)dove off from the dock! She'll walk right into the water, but we're still working on getting her to jump in.

Copper, our red labradoodle, spent his summer training to be an assistance dog for our son, Jeff. Copper and his other "classmates" volunteered at Dreamnight at the Riverbanks Zoo. This is a special night for children with chronic and/or life threatening illnesses. Copper loves all the petting and attention he gets.
KUDOS to all of you !!!!!!!!!!!!
Being with these pups and the kids is a special time.
Harper beat the heat by by sprawling out "doodle style" on our back deck!

Maddie & Morgan, our two Goldendoodles love Frosty Paws to help beat the summer heat!
This was the warmest summer I can ever remember here in Alaska. We had several days that were in the 90s. I don't think there are any homes in our area that have air conditioning, we just use fans. Murphy (our goldendoodle) found that one of the coolest places in the house was the window sill in my bedroom next to the fan.
