Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I was told that max would be 50-60 lbs. At his last vet appointment (4 months and 10 days of age) his weight was 38 lbs. The vet estimated his adult weight at 75 lbs. minimum. There is not a lot of info on these dogs. What is the weight of your adult aussiedoodle?

Thanks
John

Duff is a little over 60 lbs at 11 months
Our aussiedoodle is only 38 pounds. I was told she was going to be about 50 from the breeder. We really did want a dog larger than 38 pounds, and 50 (or more) sounded good, but at 19months she's only 38 pounds and we love her just the way she is. I can still pick her up and cuddle her in my arms if I want! :O)
Okay - I just checked Tori's records and at exactly 6 months old, she weighed 31 pounds. So she only gained about 7 more pounds since she was 6 months old. Perhaps that's a way to judge. Kinda' like kids, you double their height, or something like that, when they're 3 to see how tall they'll be as adults??? LOL
Hi John-
Sounds like you've just got a case of extra pounds of love bug! Mine is just a toy- 12 lbs (mom was a toy poo and dad was a mini aussie)- but the next one will likely be a standard on both ends- your guy is adorable- where did you get him?
Krimmi is one year old, weighs 40lbs and is 21 inches tall. :) Not a lap dog, but you can still pick him up and "try" and snuggle him. lol
I am really not sure what the standard is for sizes. Nancy's site will probably provide you with the best information. I did see both Krimmi's parents. The Dad was a standard apricot/golden looking poodle and his mom a "regular" sized Australian Shepherd. I would have thought Krimmi would be a little bigger (height) being a male but I am not complaining. I also don't think Krimmi grew much if at all after 5-6 month of age, he just gained some more pounds. Your Max sure is cute, enjoy him, I love his colours.
