Stray Boy. Do you think he is a Multi-poo?

Well some of you have asked to be kept up to date on the little stray boy that was posted on here yesterday by Donna after finding him listed on craigslist. I got him last night to groom him and I thought I would share the pictures. It is by far the worst I have seen as far as mats go. I am sorry that the pictures are not the best as the low light just didn't help out. He is about 80% done and I need to finish him up tonight. Many thanks to Jane for coming over last night and helping me!!!

This is him this morning after a bath last night to work out some of the left over mats. It took him a while to get to sleep but finally it happened and we all got some much needed rest. He was VERY happy to see me this morning. I figured he would hate me but I think he was actually grateful.

He is a really cutie and so sweet. He is getting along great with the girls and even Quincy. He does however need to be nurtured!!!

What a cute pup....do you know about how old he is?...looks like a young Mini GoldenDoodle about 1 to 1 1/2 years old....or could be a multi-poo. He looks so sweet with his new haircut.

Yes that is exactly what I would say too. I said last night that I guess he is about 2. But that is just my guess.

Oh my! What a darling boy! Belinda, you are an angel, a saint, a superwoman...I know trimming off those mats took hours of patient, tedious work. Stray Boy is so lucky for Donna's quick response and your rescue and attention. On behalf of dog lovers (especially oodles) THANKS!

Belinda - what an incredible job you did. It must have been so painful for him to live inside that plaster cast of a coat.
Isn't it amazing the dogs that are found on CL?? The DRC hunts CL for Doodles. Most of these people are looking for a 'rehoming fee' of $300 and up!! They need to 'rehome' but are charging a ridiculous amount of money! Obviously, their dog is just a thing to sell.
What is Stray Boy's story? He looks like a mini. How big is he and how much does he weigh?
Doesn't this make your heart swell knowing that a dog is saved and you helped to make him comfortable?

He could be a mini. I believe he is somewhere between 12 and 15 pounds. Here he is standing sort of next to Stella. I am happy for him that he has that mat coat off of him. He was surprisingly happy before the haircut but walked a bit funny. This morning he was down right ecstatic!

Belinda and Jane... you are amazing!!! He is adorable and looks so happy. I couldn't tell from the CL post what size he was... surprised to see he's such a little thing. Handsome and happy. You really are the best. Thanks for updating us too.

A DRC member rescued this Doodle from a High Kill Shelter in Ohio yesterday. His PetFinder page listed him as 1010 - I am not sure if that is the date he was to be euthanized or his pen # but they renamed him 'Ten'.
