Shania stolen from Rutland Manor

The situation regarding Rutland Manor has just gone completely beyond the realm of what's acceptable.

I realize that many here see me as being a Beverley crony, or part of the "Rutland Manor cult", but that's a label I'll wear proudly, as long as this smear campaign and terrorism continues.

After months of having Debra Tranter's followers illegally invading her property during the night, it seems things have escalated this evening in Australia.

Shania, the mother of my own Georgie, has come up missing while being let outside on a potty break. This is after the Tranter crew has been posting about how they need to "Save Shania" on numerous sites. In addition to Shania's disappearance, a farm gate was ripped off of it's hinges on the Rutland Manor property.

When is enough enough? Those of you proliferating the rumors about Rutland Manor...when you stop supporting people who know no boundaries and who commit crimes against humans to further their cause?

If it wasn't Tranter and her crew directly, I imagine it was someone who's been reading this garbage on the internet, took it at face value and acted on it. This is exactly why I choose to speak out in support of RM.

I have been personally offended by many of the things said about RM, Beverley and even myself. But this is different. This one hits close to home, and it has be completely broken-hearted.

If I say someone is a bad parent, or I read about it on the internet, does that give me the right to circumvent the law and take their child? No. Same with animals. It seems as though people aren't willing to give Beverley and Rutland Manor the same consideration they'd want if thy were in her shoes.

Ask yourself this: what if Beverley really is innocent? What if Rutland Manor really is a place where dogs are loved and treated kindly, where Beverley freely donates animals to service organizations?

What if she is innocent of these accusations, and she's still enduring this treatment? She's being terrorized in her own home, and now she's haven her dogs stolen from her property.

When is enough enough?

It is eleven twenty five here and Jag was barking a lot so Leith Tim and I went outside with a torch to see what was going on.

Shania was doing potty outside in the garden with Stella and Clementine. Stella and Clemmie were there but Shania has disappeared. There is NO way she would ever wander off of her own accord.

Tranter and Lisa J Ryan and the "Julie Anne" person have openly posted that "Shania needs saving". I believe that they have been here tonight and stolen Shania.

Her microchip number is 9180003001110240 ; and she has an ear tattoo 096T

The big farm gate at the back of the kennel complex has been ripped off its hinges as a parting gesture.

Anyone who has any information which leads to Shania's return will be given a substantial reward and their identity will remain anonymous even if they were involved in her theft. Contact Beverley in person, you have my word.

I personally have no vested interest in RM, ALD or Tegan. I have been reading all these discussions regarding RM - for educational purposes for myself. I have 2 doodles - 1 from a pet store and 1 from an Amish PM. My passion is rescuing Doodles.

BUT the theft of a dog, no matter what the thought process behind it may be, is vile, disgusting, and despicable!!!

I just got word from Beverley that Shania has been returned. Shortly after the police left Rutland Manor, she was found barking in a neighbor's yard, where she had not been just minutes before. We believe that she was taken by someone in the area, with the intention of handing her over to the activists, but they got spooked when the police responded so quickly.

Yeah?...Dogs are stolen in the good ol USA everyday...As Karen mentioned in the other discussion what are we supposed to do about it here?..

It would not surprise me in the least if BM herself orchestrated this as a way to gain attention, sympathy and discredit Tranter.

If I'm biased for Rutland Manor, you are very clearly biased against RM. I'm sure Beverley hid the dog, ripped a rather large gate off of it's hinges (and did this all without he knowledge of the 3 other people in her home at the time), then called the police and made a false report. The police and others who looked for Shania are in on it too, eh?

It's amazing how you'll believe anything against RM that you read on the web, but you're so quick to dismiss anything that may humanize Beverley. I sincerely hope you never find yourself in her shoes with the way you've so quickly convicted her. Karma.

I'm supposed to be chipper and ignore the posts here that defame Beverley and Rutland Manor, but you can pop into my posts supporting them and add your two cents? Practice what you preach.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if you were a Tranter supporter - supporting a woman who values animal lives over human lives, and who advocates committing felonies against 70 year old women. That's kind of person I'd feel good about supporting.

Yes, this happened in Australia. If you watch your news this evening, you may see that they include news and events from areas outside of your geographical area. Are you going to call them up and tell them you only want to hear about things in your area, or things you have personally had a hand in?

I don't hear you saying, "oh, this happened in Australia" when you're making your negative comments. If this is truly of no interest to you, since it's half a world away, stop commenting on issues related to Rutland Manor. But be consistent - you're either concerned or you're not.

I am so glad that Shania was returned. I had a dog go missing once for three days. It was horrible and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. My story was a happily ever after story and I hope it will be the same for Shania and Beverly. Personally, I am disgusted by the negativity and slanderous things being said. I have no vested interest in the origins or continuation of Rutland Manor or any breeder - Australia, Canada, America. I just want to sing, "Why can't we be friends? Why can't we be friends?" From the little I have read, I feel that perhaps Beverly used bad judgement in parenting her daughter. I also get the impression that many of Beverly's "attackers" have dogs that aren't ALDs so I can't figure out why they care - are they jealous of something I don't get? We all want wonderful, healthy dogs and who the heck cares if the are ALDs or not. My pup was an impulse buy that I would make again so.......

The internet is a very scary tool. Newspapers, television news programs and other print material have boards and editors who provide some fact checking, moderation, etc. and they can still provide slanted, misleading and sometimes just plain wrong information. The internet has no such checks and balances on what is written on on "social sites". It is always wisest to go to the original source material. For me, living in So CA this is not possible, so like our legal system, I try very hard to presume innocence until proof of guilt.

In any case, though, nothing gives people the right to do wrong. Or two wrongs don't make a right. That is what social order and law is for. Yes, it is slow. Yes, it sometimes does not catch the bad guy. But it is way better than anarchy.

I have one question, when was this dog stolen? the notice stated Friday, November 8th. That would not be this year,, the 8th is Sunday.

I have no connection with this other than I said a prayer for her safety when I read the original post, I am so glad she is safe. This goes for any and all of our doodles or fur kids and all who need our prayers.... This is one of the WORST feeling when one of our own go astray. I made up a flyer for my Inlaws dog who bolted...it only took me about one minute after they called me, I had the computer to do this and then needed to drive to them and help search.....I did not check spelling! I took his photo from my breeders website in hurried haste (and hope they forgive me for that:) ) he was only here for two days and we did not have a current photo....luckly I had the phone numbers correct! but I would have markered that up if I made a mistake for sure. I tell you it is such a quick throw together of information! Maybe it was a type error in a rushed situation? is all I can feel about your findings of the date....we all want to get the flyers up asap in this kind of situation! Maybe we should all have pre-made posters made up.

Haste can lead to errors when doing posters , but if you notice the author the the original post has not responded to my question regarding the date. If the dog was gone, very happy that it is back. I don't want to see anyone lose their dog.

But the author of the original post was sharing info. I don't think she is the one who did the poster, but then I may be wrong. Why would that be important anyway? Is it because you think the whole thing was faked? ( I wouldn't get my date wrong if I was faking it). As far as responding to your question, perhaps the author isn't one of us doodlekisses obsessed people? I know I am on the site tons and tons but lots of people aren't.

Why is the date so important to you? Do you think the whole think was faked? If I were faking it I would NOT make a mistake about the date. What is the date in Australia as opposed to USA anyway? I feel that the discussion author was just informing us. He didn't have a direct connection to the theft, so I don't think he could explain the date error anyway.
My computer said that you asked your question 6 hours ago. Some of dk members aren't on-line as much as others and you question may not have been accessed.

I was waiting for a reply before answering. It was a typo. The poster was made after 11 PM, after they had been out searching for her for a half hour and as they were waiting on the police.

I make typos all of the time when I'm NOT under duress such as this. I can see where it would be easy to swap an 8 for a 6.

Seems like an odd thing to fixate on.
