NAME: Zsa Zsa

BREED: Labradoodle

SIZE : Medium (45 lbs. )

DESCRIPTION: Zsa Zsa has a unique silver , grey colored, wavy, soft fleece coat.

She is wearing a pink collar. Zsa Zsa arrived from Texas via transport this morning 11/7 and bolted from her new owners when she arrived at her new home. As of 7:15 this evening she has not been found!.....

We are sick over this and have contacted all local authorities, animal welfare agencies and animal control. She is scared, shy and unfamiliar with her surroundings.

Thank you all for your concern and help.....We walked the grid yesterday with Eva, Zsa Zsa's sister but it yielded nothing......Zsa Zsa seems to be coming out in the evenings to forage for food so we are now "negotiating" with animal control to set "Have a Heart" traps throughout the area to capture her......She is eating...There is dog food and chicken being left in the area and when checked come sunrise, the food has been consumed and muddy dog paw prints were on the towels laid down around the food.....Unfortunately we are dealing with an extremely inept staff at the local shelter and they have the animal control contract for the entire area ......Of course par for the course no one there actually implements the capturing of animals....It's truly a joke....We are trying to hire an independent "dog catcher" to set the traps.......It's truly a rescuer's worst nightmare.......

Oh My, I am checking the postings to this 4-5 times a day just hoping someone can coax her to come to them. I wish I were in that area so I could help. I'm in the Nashville, TN area and I feel so helpless reading about all of this going on. If one of my dooders was lost I would probably end up camping outside in a sleeping bag to try and find them. Know that MANY doodle thoughts are heading your way!

This is unbelievable! I check this post as soon as I come home from work, and throughout the night!. she seems like she's extrmemely smart as she is purposely avoiding people. I am sure she is equally as smart in finding shelter and keeping herself safe. This POOR puppy! My heart goes out to her and her rescuers!! I am praying to St. Francis, guardian of animals, that she makes it home soon!!!

Everyone keep all your fingers and paws crossed through tomorrow. We have someone going with Have-a-Heart traps and folks will be combing the area searching for her. I cannot believe how many other rescue people have come to our aid. It is an amazing world. Send good thoughts and prayers. This weekend WE WILL FIND HER.
