Hi Jessica! Sorry for the delay.... we were out of the country. We got her at www.noblevestaldoodles. They are on the site if you want to check them ouot. Kendra, the breeder is amazing! We are very very happy with our precious girl. I see Kendra answered you already. I hope you've been in touch...
sorry to be so long-winded :-) but I forgot one important suggestion for you:
Put in an application with www.IDOG.biz as they are the one and only all doodle rescue organization for the United States. It's best to have an application turned in because then you will get first notice of a dog near you that meets your need before it's listed for the public.
okay, for breeders' puppies I would look in the two groups we have where breeders are allowed to advertise: "labradoodle puppies for sale" and " goldendoodle puppies for sale". While doodle kisses does not endorse any particular breeder, and we do not screen the breeders who put ads up... each breeder who does advertise must answer some questions about their program and that will help you in choosing between breeders. There is also a group on here called "owner recommended breeders" where happy customers can recommend breeders that they have experience with and they have to answer specific questions about their program. I recommend you visit all three of those groups here on doodlekisses.
finally, there is a group called "rescued doodles" for people who have rescued doodles or who are considering it. a couple of members there frequently peruse petfinder.com and when they spot a doodle that needs a home post it in the rescued doodles group under the subject line "Doodle in Need HELP". So you can look through the listings there and see if there are any near you. T
