About Me:

I'm an American expat living in London. I came over for work, met and married my OH and we bought a house in 2008 which we totally remodelled and moved into in early 2009.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

After buying our house, we knew it was time to get a dog...we wanted one that was a bit older as we both work. I came across a labradoodle rescue in England (Labradoodle Trust) in the spring as we were looking for a dog to bring into our lives. Barney, a 2-1/2 year old scruffy black, was the doodle we were paired with. He's a very nervous dog and we're working on helping him to become a more confident dog.

Rescue

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Honestly, they were the only rescue group that were willing to give a dog to a working couple (even though we had a trainer/dog walker in place)...but I had owned a rescue labrador, so knew that I wanted a lab or lab mix anyway. The Labrador Trust was amazing to work with.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Go to doodle meets around the south of England, play in our back garden, go on long walks, and currently learning to do clicker training.

Yes!
