"We just added another Doodle to our family. We adopted, Murphy, from Home At Last Rescue in Philadelphia.
Murphy is 4 month old, F1B Male Goldendoodle who calls Maplewood, NJ his home.
Murphy has joined my husband's and our existing pack…"
I am a mother of three teenage boys, 17, 15 and 13. I work full time as "Stay At Home Mom", my duties include being a personal chauffer, short order cook, laundry service operator, and a negotiator and law maker. We have a 10 year year old Goldendoodle, Brody, who we love and adore. He has been such a blessing to our family and has enriched our lives inlays we could never have imagines. My husband and I have just recently rescued a four month old male Goldendoodle, Murphy, from Home At Last Rescue in Philadelphia. He and his two sisters came from an Amish breeder situation in Pennsylvania. He under went a bi-lateral Entropian eye surgery. It is true that you do not rescue the dog, but they rescue you. Brody has been adjusting living with a bouncy, curious puppy and has been patient, kind and also vocal about what he will and will not tolerate. We have thought about getting another doodle from the breeder we got Brody from, but felt that there is so many doodles that need a home and Murphy popped up one day and next thing I knew it I was running to Philadelphia to get this scared, quiet puppy. It has not taken him long to come out of his shell and capture our heart.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I have a 10 year old F1B male Goldendoodle, named Brody. He was born on January 24, 2009 and arrived into our home and heart on my 40th Birthday. We just recently adopted a male Goldendoodle, Murphy, on April 22, 2019 from Home At Last Rescue. Brody has been a great teacher, mentor and big brother to his new little brother. L
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder, Rescue
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Our middle son was diagnosed with asthma when he was younger and we were looking for breed that had minimal shedding, however, more importantly would be great with children. Brody, exceeded our expectations and has been such a beautiful, caring, loving member of our family. He has made our lives better and we are better due to him gracing our lives. Our new addition, Murphy, has already melted our hearts and our family is so fortunate to have this new bundle of energy and warmth choose us as his family.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
I love taking long walks with my two favorite doodles, as well as playing ball. Brody has a love obsession with balls, whether it is tennis, soccer or lax balls. He does not discriminate against any type of ball, as long as its round and can be thrown. He will even catch a plastic water bottle if that is all there is. Brody is not a water dog, but loves rolling in the snow. Hoping Murphy may like the water because we have a second home in Virginia where he can run, play, hike and swim.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
Our doodle is professionally groomed by, Puppy Love every 6 to 8 weeks.
Favorite Doodle Products?
My favorite product has to be my Les Poochs brush. Brody's favorite product has to be his tennis, lacrosse and other types of balls, and his red dragon, which he has had since he has been a puppy. Murphy, has a green alligator that he loves to play with and chew.
Wow! Just ran across the pictures of your dog and can't believe how much our dogs look alike. My dog was born on the 15th of March, so she is a couple months older. You can't really tell by looking at the picture that I have posted since that was taken when she was 9 weeks old. Do you have any more recent photos of your dog??? I am curious to know what he looks like now. Thanks!

Can't wait until Brody is old enough to come out and play with us!
Have a great weekend!
