- We have a standard sized Australian Labradoodle, who has a gorgeous black coat. His name is Derek, after Derek Jeter, and he is a gentle giant. 80lbs of furry love. We rescued Colby, our smaller love. He is our wild child and very mischievous but super sweet and 1/2 the size of us brother. The boys are so cute together, just a year apart in age -- they are devoted to each other!! We love our Doods!!

February Calendar Doods

I have to share this. I love my Doodle Kisses calendars, year after year. This year, when I turned to February, it was like looking at my two boys. Barney and Sundog are so much like Colby and Derek -- even down to the collar colors.

Hi Michele ~ Derek Doodle is very handsome. I have never seen a black doodle in real life. I had a black standard poodle for years and he hated the sun. When we got a doodle, we decided to go with chocolate, and he does not like the sun either!! LOL Maybe non of them do. I see you have found the groups section on the main page. There are many fun groups and if you like photography you will find that particular group extremely active and popular.
