Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

In 45 days I will bring home my beautiful Australian Doodle.  I am beyond excited and can hardly contain myself!!!  The waiting is so hard and I don't know how you all got through it.  Sometimes it's almost unbearable, especially everyday when I'm looking at all the beautiful Doodles on this forum.

Also want to say how grateful I am that I found this forum.  I am learning so much here and the information is just priceless.  I am doing my due diligence and absorbing everything I can so that when my baby comes home, I'll be the best mommy I can be :D

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your doodle as much as I enjoy mine.

Anticipation is part of the fun! I know I was obsessed. Enjoy!

Good luck!! I know you will love the pup! I have never had more than one dog before I got my doodle and now I have three doodles--yes, they are addictive! Be careful! ;)

Countdown!!! How exciting!!  It seems like the final days just DRAG!!!  I'm glad you joined DK! I wish I had known about this site when Tara was small!  I really could have used the help!! Looking forward to seeing your puppy pictures!!

Congrats!  How exciting...anticipation is really so much a part of the whole thing...it makes THE DAY awesome.  So glad you have joined DK....Welcome!  I have had my little girl for 6 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days and I wake every morning wanting to see her and end everyday wishing it wouldn't end.

It's getting closer!!! :-) Waiting is half the fun. Can't wait for you to pick up your cutie, make sure to take lots of pictures!
Connie, I'm so excited for you! When will you know which one's yours?
Hi Kate!  No, I don't know yet which one is mine.  The puppies turned 4 weeks old this past Sunday and the breeder will allocate when they are 7 weeks old.  So i will be a couple more weeks or so until I know and the waiting is killing me!  My breeder is posting WONDERFUL photos on the website and each time I see new ones I wonder which one, which one?????  I asked for the smallest, calmest puppy but I also said I love the chocolates too.  I am putting my trust in the breeder as she is the experienced one.  There are 2 chocolates, 2 black, one cream and one red in the litter.  They are ALL darling!!
I had a look at the puppies and they are all adorable.  What great pictures the breeder put up. The parents also look just gorgeous.  Whichever one you get will be the right one.  Very excited for you.

Hi Connie, I think it's wise to trust the breeder. I would actually prefer for the breeder to select my puppy. After all, she has had tons of experience in determining the temperaments and other stuff. Plus, it makes the surprise all the more exciting! Only 44 more days!!!

I know how you feel. I was in the same boat a few months ago. Enjoy the anticipation. The puppy will be worth it.
It's worth the wait.
