A year later...

[Puppy Love]

When the breeder handed Jackson to me for the first time, she said "my most antisipated puppy, I put you in good hands". 

 

He doesnt have the coat I dreamed of.   He isnt as big as I wanted.  And yes he sheds like crazzzy and I have really bad allergies. He still thinks I am amazing, even if I am sneezing and blowing up a storm with toilet paper rolled up and hanging out of my nose.

 

At times I am shunned by the stuck up rescue owners in my community. 

 

He is very smart when he wants to be /he has a stubborn streak. He is gentle and kind almost to a fault, he would not protect himself or me if our lives depended on it. 

 

 

After a tough day out in the jungle; I come home and loyal companion awaits with his big round eyes and wagging tail.  His nickname is Twinkle Star because he brightens the toughest day and thats the little song I sing him when I rub his tummy.

 

He is my first dog and I can never imagine life without a dog.  Jackson has taught me every dog has an amazing gift that comes from his heart and soul. No matter what size, coat type or color.  A dogs love comes from deep inside and radiates from the eyes. 

 

I pray for happy days and good health for years to come!   Thank you for an amazing year!

Oh, he is just adorable.  They just burrow their way into our hearts don't they - no matter that they aren't perfect as to what we thought we want, they are perfect for what we need.

What I needed is right on! Jackson has helped me get a new prospective. Not everything has to planned some of the most wonderful things in life are the surprises. A breeder once told me I might never find what I'm looking for because I'm so picky. She was right I didn't get what I wanted,howeve I got more than I ever hopped for. He's just a dog and this might sound silly but he makes me a better happier person. ;)
