Gina, without a name or website connected to this breeder, it's really hard to know who you are referring to. What is their breeding program called? There are LOTS of breeders out there...
Ok, got it! Sorry didn't realize the title of your discussion was actually the Breeder's program name...thought you were just listing the kind of dogs they bred =)

I am not personally familiar with them, but here is an article that discusses what to look for in a breeder. You can use it to guide you in asking the breeder good questions to help you determine if they are worth looking into more:

Since I live in California, I have no personal knowledge of this breeder. I did however do a lot of research before I bought my first ALD (Australian Labradoodle). There are some questions that this website immediately poses in my mind. Maybe all of them have good answers, but they should be asked. First Aussie Doodle is a bit of an odd name as Aussie Doodle usually refers to a poodle, Australian Shepherd cross. Second, absolutely no information is offered about the health of any of their girl dogs. Why? Has this testing not been done? They are a member of an association but do not display either the silver or gold paw each of which guarantees that certain minimum standards ( including genetic testing for the breeders) are met by the breeder. They talk about socialization and show cute pictures, but socialization is really quite sophisticated and specific, in addition to playing with children. Check out log Cabin Labradoodles and Noble Vestal Doodles websites, they are both members of DK and have good info on their sites. I would look further and ask more questions before any decision.
These replies are really helpful. I noticed as well that their is no info on the moms. Th e email address is confusing as it is just aussie doodles but the actual name is is aussie labradoodles. I have been looking at this website for a while and this current avail litter seems to be the first one that is using an F1 instead of a multigen which we are not really interested in (allergies-and this pretty dog has a coat that is very much more lab) Once in email conversation, they offer more information on health guarantee etc. The forum on what to look for in a breeder is great . I think we are going to visit and see what our impressions are.
Thank you for helping, Any and all thoughts are appreciated!
Hi again,

Check out these two websites for ALD breeders that definitely health test their breeders and are in Ohio. Melorich and Rainmaker Labradoodles. They both have puppies available and seem from a very brief search of their site to be more knowledgeable. Happy Hunting - it is so fun to look for a puppy. Do be careful, though, because it is an incredible heartbreak to take home and love a puppy with serious health problems.SmileyCentral.com
I have a dog from Aussie Labradoodle in my program. She is from their multi gen side and pure is Australian.

What are you looking for specifically? Size, Color, Coat type? and what time frame are you looking to add your puppy?

This will greatly determine your options. Some breed specific sizes and colors.
I got my mini LD pup Duncan from them. My sister in law got her mini LD Casey from them a year prior and had a good experience so i followed suit. She was referred to them from someone else who she is friends with that has a standard LD from them too. They drove over 4 hours to meet me with the pup so i didn't have to ship him on a plane. Duncan is 5 1/2 months old now and doing really well. His parents are T.J. and Maggie. He is a multigen.
Well we brought home our labradoodle puppy yesterday from Aussie Labradoodles and he is fabulous. He is a medium size red boy we have named Finnigan-the kids call him Finn. All the comments from everyone were really helpful regarding what to check on and the Lambert's (breeders) were terrific. All information I asked for was readily and happily given. All the info on all the breeding dogs is not posted on the site and I appreciated a comment from a Breeder's perspective that it is as much up to me to ask. We chose to wait until Finnigan was 12 weeks to take him ( our schedule of vacation) so the Mom dog Lucy was back with her guardian home but we did meet the Dad Uluroo who is a gorgeous boy from Tegan Park they co-own. We met several of their breeding dogs and some of the puppies from this and another litter when they were 8-9 weeks and we went to visit and meet our new boy. All happy , healthy and great dispositions. Off to the vet day after tomorrow and then assuming all is okay I will add them to the owner recommended list. Thanks as well to Noble Vestal and to Sally for their personal experience.Finn did terrific in his crate last night and we are learning his cues to go outside. Not bad so far but keeping my fingers crossed. As soon as I get a picture I will post it !
