Well,the 13th is almost here.

 I imagine all the packing, and preparations for our friends, who are going on the doodle cruise are done, or being finalized.

I wish I could be with you all. I'm sure there will be much laughter, silliness, and just plain fun. Some of you have already met, and for some it will be the first time. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy !

Have a Margarita, (or some wine for me),

and make a toast to Adina,

and all the friendships she has helped to forge on her DK site !

Take a lot of pictures to post.

However, try to keep Laurie and her orange bikini out of them.

Well at least most of them.

We're so sad that we won't be going this time, but really hope everyone has a fabulous time.  If it's even half as much fun as last year it will be an amazing experience.  I'm just so happy that we had insurance, although the claim process looks like it may be challenging.  We'll be with "y'all" in spirit, and please collect as many umbrellas as possible AND SEND THEM TO ME.  I will then drink a tropical cocktail for each umbrella I receive.  Doris, I'm counting on you....I'm expecting that you can collect more umbrellas than anybody else while still managing to keep that tiara in place (I remember how you "threw them back" last year.  I'm excited about being able to join the "other" DK cruise experience and even have some special "attire" ready for the event.  Karen, are you the "cruise director"?  We are beginning to see a little progress with our son who has been really ill, so things are starting to look up for us.  We'll just have to wait until next time.  So have fun DKers...have a drink or ten for me and a dance for Tim.

Jane - last years cruise was a dream come true for me - to actually meet so many of my DK friends and of course the awesome Adina and Clark!!!  What I also got was a totally unexpected BLESSING - to meet your son.  For those that have not met Tim - well he is just a really special guy, he called me his Cruise Girl Friend.  How sweet.  We really bonded and enjoyed our time together - and about every 3 months or so the phone will ring and it will be Tim calling me to say "hi".  I'm heartbroken that you, Dave and Tim will not be with us but I praise God that Tim pulled through this medical emergency to cruise another day.  There are new friends to meet this cruise but yes, you'll be there in spirit and you won't be forgotten - we'll all be throwing a few back for you!!!!!  xoxoxxo
