I will be bringing home my f1 English mini goldendoodle this week. I can't wait but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many times did there pups coat change before adult hood. The first picture is of her about 2/3 weeks the last picture is of her at 8 weeks

Oh my doodle - is that baby ever cute!!!!!
OMD!! Soooo cute!
Very cute! Darwin went through a coat change at about 5-8 months, he became curlier and started matting. he's been basically the same since.
That's one very cute baby. Adorable.
I suspect they're all a little different because my mini got curlier when he went through the coat change, but Murphy's coat never changed much at all....except for some matting during this phase.  Your puppy is so adorable!
I LOVE the curl!  Soooo Cute!
She is just adorable!  I still haven't figured out the coat change thing.  Rua's coat is getting long and it is matting a bit where her harness rubs.
That is one seriously adorable doodle!
One cute doodle indeed. I think she'll be at least wavy if not curly.

Penny is one beautiful girl!  You must be beside yourself with excitement about bringing her home!

Brulee's coat was wavy until about 7-8 months.  Then it began to show curl from the hair root area.  Shortly after that (a month or so) she started to develop some matting.  She is almost a year now, and her coat is much longer, curlier, and more coarse.  It sounds like each Doodle's coat has its own way of developing.  Just enjoy the unfolding mystery!

Cooper matted as she went through the coat change, but her fur is pretty much the same as it was before

Hi Courtney...

Your pup is just adorable!!

Sasha is a Standard English F1 Goldendoodle...and like all other doodles...she went through a coat change from puppy to adult. Some change more than others.

They usually go through a stage where they mat...some more than others...when they go through the change from puppy to adult coat...and the coat does change.

It  "usually" gets a bit more wavy or curly...not straighter...but more Doodlely looking...and the coat "usually" does continue to lighten up for the first year.

I love the English Goldendoodles.  They tend to be a bit shorter and muscular  and their head is boxier...which gives them that "teddy bear" look!
