it took for ever for Harley to snuggle...and even now it's snuggling on his terms.  He does not like your face in his face, yet  loves  bury his face in between our legs for lovin and petting, or lay beside me,  It has only been recently that he likes to be up in the bed, but we have to kick him out because he is a space hog and likes to stretch those long legs. I think he was about 6 months old when we started letting him sleep in our room and not in his crate, prior to that he wouldn't sleep through the night without getting up and exploring.

Midas is always hott so I call him up to sit on the couch with me and he jumps down to lay in the hardwood floor lol.. I looked at ur pics and Harley is solo cute!!! How much does he weigh?? Do u remember what he weighed at like 19 weeks? Midas is 42 lbs!!! Lol he looks a lot like harley too!!!

Thank you, we think Harley is pretty darn cute ourselves.  I don't recall his weight at 19 weeks specifically, but I think he was 41lbs at 4 months, and continued  to gain 10 each month until he reached 70.  He then slowly creeped up to where he stays now about 80 - 85lbs.  This keeps him on the lean side.

This is all up to each person.  We wanted our Gracie Doodle to sleep with us.  She was crate trained until 6 months and once we were done traveling and our daughter's wedding and things settled down, we sprung her from the crate.  Over the years she picks her own space to sleep at night.  In the winter she seems to be on our bed every night and hangs out there during the day but all this summer she has been sleeping on the carpet, limestone or even the hardwood floors.  She is always hot and likes to be in cool places.  I think our bed just gets too hot for her even with the A/C on (just for her too)!  Gracie likes to sleep long and on her back a lot.  I love the Doodle pose which is paws up and back legs spread to either side.  Great for tummy kissing!  She has run of the house and a doggie door to the patio so she is 100% trust worthy.  We beg her to come to bed with us but right now she just isn't buying it!  Otherwise, she owns our bed!  And we love it!!!

I think I had an old discussion here about this, but I can't find it. Our Murphy was about 10 weeks old when he started sleeping through the night in bed with us. We only crated for a very short time and he would wake us up if he had to go out and never peed on the bed. He sleeps like a log, right at my feet and rarely gets off to sleep on the floor. He isn't a real cuddler though. He will only sleep at the foot of the bed and if we pull him up between us it's not long before he is back at the foot.
So for my second doodle I asked for a cuddler! And she is. All day, every day, inside, outside, in the living room, bedroom, bathroom, on walks, at dog park. Just has to come over for a pet and a hug. Except, she doesn't sleep much at all in our bed. If she starts there, she is off very shortly. Sleeps all over the bedroom, or on her own bed. But not in our bed if we are both in it. Which considering that together they weigh 120 pds it's a good thing that only one sleeps with us. But I love that she loves so much physical attention. Shes my little love bug

Jack was crated for the first nine or so months, Now he literally sleeps in my arms... I love it..

Bodi sleeps on my pillow, on my husband, on the floor, in the bathroom, on his bed . . . .I love that he likes to go to bed with me and snuggle, BUT some nights he wants to be petted ALL night.  I'm torn between saying, "let him sleep with you" and "keep him in the crate or on the floor".  Once your dood gets used to the bed it is all over!!!

SOOO true! I am constantly telling DH to move over when Murphy does sleep on his side of the foot of the bed. He comes over to my PersonalSpace. I tell DH to just MAKE MURPHY MOVE, HE'S A DOG! But DH just says "that's mean" and stays right next to me so he doesn't disturb Murph. Hey .... What about me???? Guess we can see who rates higher at our house huh?

This is totally me and Winston. It starts out like the top one, but quickly goes down hill from there. He eventually gets fed up and goes to the floor. I love snuggling with my doodles!

I sleep with mine :)  My lab mix rescue has slept with me for yrs.  When Magnet was a wee baby, she DID NOT crate well so I tethered her to my dresser.  Once she hit about 5 to 6 months old and learned it was time to settle, she joined me in bed.  Smudge on the other hand, we crated her for the first yr and she was perfectly content with that.  When she turned a yr old I started leaving the door to the crate open and eventually she left the crate and joined us in bed.  So now I am proud to say I have both doodles and my rescue Lab mix in my bed every night.  And might I add I LOVE IT!!!  :) (but does get a lil cramped in there with me and 3 big dogs in a queen size lol)

I don't sleep with my dog - he sleeps ON me.  Stuart is a love bug and loves to be on the bed but becareful what you wish for because they quickly turn into bed hogs.  Stuart has always had a thing about having his head on something - that special something is me.  So while he snoozes the night away - I'm pinned down as he lays across my legs.  Little Rooney will curl up but he doesn't have to be touching me like Stuart does.
