that looks great! Perfect for summer, chilling in the yard - me with a glass of wine, DH with a bottle of beer, and cool fresh water for Cooper!
(I know Coop would love it, she always tries to drink from the hose when I water the flowers and veggies)
Im going to ask my reps at work, see if they sell anything like this!!!!
This is really cool. My dog would love it.
I do wonder though, would this cause the dog to suck more air in and maybe increase the risk of bloat?
I think it must have to do with whatever the hose is made of and they do bake in the sun. There are special hoses made for drinking I believe. I fill my dogs outdoor bowl from the faucet or let them drink directly from there. I personally never drink from a bucket : ) But you know me, I'll do some more research. TG for Google.
Here's the first problem--lead.

Here's the next problem--cross contamination.

Ok, I'm convinced and won't look further. I don't think I have to worry about the latter since I have my own well.
Apparently the safe hoses are generally white, sometimes blue but they must be marked as potable water hoses, which, believe it or not are FDA approved. Then the fittings, washers etc. need to also be for drinking water purposes. Here is an example of such a hose:
