Forbidden fruits ~ oh my...
So yesterday I purchased at LEAST a half a dozen new and fun (I thought so) toys for the doods around here. Yet this morning to my amazement this is what I have rescued:
2 rolls of cottonelle
1 now decapitated stuffed animal
assorted laundry headed for washing, now rerouted to the trash
a homework assignment that the dog really did eat
and a partially eaten sale ad portion of the Sunday paper
Of course we have also attempted to go swimming in the water bowl (thankfully not while in possession of the cottonelle)
trekked through quick sand aka puppy gruel
slept in our potty box despite the thick & soft blanket we have for snuggling (4 week puppies)
And thought Special K might be a nice alternative to our morning kibble
Oh what a mischievous morning! I am certain I will have more laughs to share but didn't want to delay the chuckle you may have in response as the mischief in your own home unfolds. Later we may look for relatives in our family tree by way of the hole to China we started in our backyard = )
To all the doods and their humans ~ have a terrific day! I hope you have many opportunities to bask in time spent with each other today!

Hey ~ guess I better charge the battery! With the plethora of theme parks virtually in our backyard (Orlando) we do not even need to leave the house!

Dianne, you are so funny and such a descriptive writer! As one who will be picking up my new puppy in two weeks I am getting the idea of what I better hide! To think I have a basket of brand new and great toys for little Echo and it looks like I will be the only one playing with them! Let us know if you find any relatives in China...that really made me laugh!!

Oski still loves toilet paper. He leaves the roll on the dispenser alone but if I happen to leave out a roll by its lonesome it soon has chomp marks. He has a basket full of toys that he goes "shopping" in every day but my cheap date still loves Charmin, LOL

Attitude is everything so choose a good one! And you certainly have! You are going to love being a puppy owner! Watch for the puppy bounce in the run- butt up, butt up etc. One of my puppies buried a whole soccer team of jersys, orange, no less and I could not figure out what happened to them. We LOL when they "sprouted" in our back yard after a really good rain! Each had been separately planted. ENJOY

LOL!!! Is that not soooooo true about your doodles :) You can buy them all the toys in the world and what do they go for? Toilet paper...........blankets.........and all the things they should not get..............LOL. They are great aren't they?
