Goldendoodle F1 coat

Hi Guys,

I will be picking up this doodle this sunday and just wanted to get some input on what type of coat do you think he will have.  Looks like it will be the shaggy type but not really sure.  Mom is a golden retriever and dad is a standard poodle.  Thanks

Ask Laurie, Fudge, and Vern. She is so helpful with coat types. Looks shaggy to me though.

I have no idea! Both my girls are labradoodles. 

This is a the picture I fell in love with on PetFinder of Charli. She is from an Amish Puppy Mill so I have no idea what type of doodle is she other than fantastic!

Are these 2 pics the same puppy!?  Very cute- big difference in fur there :) Mine resembles the bottom pic. right now, but he's getting wavier.

Very cute!! Too early to tell, but those curls on the ears might be an indication of curls LATER on--after the puppy coat transition at around 12-14 months of age--lots of doodles get curlier when their puppy coat changes to an adult coat---this is a very thick coat and this doodle will be pretty no matter what!!

This girl had very straight shaggy hair at 8 weeks and here she is at one and 1/2. She isn't mine--I own her mom.

thanks again guys, he's 7 weeks old and on its 4th day with us. Learns very quick, was able to climb our stairs the 1st day and now climbs and descends the stairs at will.
