Wanda, only puppy mills are selling doodle puppies for $250 on Puppy Find. :)

Semi off topic but Karen, do you see a lot of these puppy mill puppies come through the rescue? Or do most of these puppies end up with homes. Obviously some end up in rescues after they are initially purchased... I guess I'm just curious as to why they sell them for so cheap and why people buy them.

We do get puppy mill dogs, but we don't usually know where they came from. People see these ads and think they are breeders, it says "breeder" by the seller's name, so they say they got the dog from a breeder. Often the dog is passed from home to home before they come to rescue, the person relinquishing the dog got him from Craig's list or some post on FB, and there's no way to know where the dog originally came from. The only time you know for sure is if they got the dog in a pet store or they have the name of the kennel.

But we also get dogs from many actual breeders, some reputable, some not so much.

In the case of these Puppy Find labradoodles Wanda saw, I found the ad. They're older, black puppies that didn;t sell, a whole litter from a large commercial breeding kennel, as far as I can tell, and she's trying to get rid of them. She sells new labradoodle pups for $600.

Roo and Tigger are brothers from different litters.  Both multigan Australian labradoodles.  Tigger is quieter, calmer, less cuddly, but also more stubborn about complying with commands.  Roo is friendly, very very friendly, in your face friendly, cuddly, more difficult to teach to walk calmly but also now much more compliant about commands.

So what I guess I am saying is in depends more on the dog than the mix.

I agree.

We've had many discussions of the Goldendoodle vs Labradoodle issues, so try a search. The bottom line is what Maryann said, it really depends on the dog, not the mix and the similarities of these two mixes are indiscernible at best. A great majority of the type of dog you end up with will be relative to the time and training you put into it. Having said that, they both have poodle mix in them and that does add a lot to their personalities, I feel.
