Oh wow, to my amazement a box was delivered to our house here in San Diego, California from Kathy and Lilly Spyker...all the way from Pennsylvania! Gracie Doodle was sitting on the front lawn waiting for the mailman to deliver her Christmas costume and instead this box arrived!
Gracie immediately started smelling the box and knew it was something special. It had the smell of another Doodle and that made her happy!
Gracie sniffed and sniffed the box and then looked at the picture on the side. It was HER! She then knew what it was...Hurry Momma...take it in the house so I can open it!
Hummm...there is something gold and shiny. Let me put my nose print on it and then you can take it out of the box for me.
Okay, so that is the famous Hopeless Doodle Addict Award? Hey, I remember seeing it when we were at a romp over a year ago and Nancy (Ned and Clancy) gave the award to Gina (Kona and Buddy). I remember my Momma asking about it and that was where she learned about how you have to spend all your time on your computer and DoodleKisses to maybe someday be lucky enough to win this award.
Hey look...how did Lilly know this is my most favorite ball? I love the Kong squeaky balls...Gee thanks Lilly.
Wow, there is tons of stuff in this box but I found my things. There were some Zukes treats too but Momma took those away from me for now. She said something about having to photograph them first. Oh no...does that mean that black square thing that clicks at me all the time is coming out??? Hey, check out the cool squirrel and it squeaks. I love things that squeak! Lilly, you really know what Doodles like! Thanks a bunch.
Uh oh...my Poppa hasn't left for work yet and I just heard Momma call to him in the shower to come out and take our picture when he is done!! Here we go again...
Meanwhile, while we are waiting for my Poppa to come "shoot" us, look at all the cool stuff that Kathy put in our box. Potato chips made locally in Pennsylvania. Chocolate covered Raspberries made locally too! (I'll have to remind my Momma that she has been on a diet and has been really good...therefore, put these human treats away for later!) Lots of booklets and stuff from York County, PA where Kathy and Lilly live. Then a bag with some Harley-Davidson goodies. A pen, key chain, pin and brochure. And then of course, last but not least, my gifts which I already showed you...the ball, squirrel and the Zukes. Boy, this was a really fun morning!
DO I LOOK LIKE A PROUD DOODLE??? I AM SOOO PROUD OF MY MOMMA. SHE HAS WORKED VERY HARD ON THAT COMPUTER...EVERY NIGHT...EVERY DAY WHEN SHE IS HOME...NOW MAYBE SHE WILL SLOW DOWN AND SPEND MORE TIME WITH ME!!! I DO LOOK NEGLECTED DON'T I??
Here is a big Doodle Kiss for my Momma. I love her and she is the best ever! Actually, I am a very loved and spoiled girl but I am also a very good girl and everyone loves me. Momma and I are best friends and I make her laugh and smile all the time. You should just see how HER TAIL WAGS!!
Thank you all for this honor. I love DoodleKisses and all the wonderful people I have met...both in person and through the computer. I wish I could meet you all personally. There are many of you that I feel very bonded to and I have fallen in love with many of the Doodles and want to just hug and kiss them all. If it weren't for my precious Gracie Doodle, I wouldn't know this happiness that she has brought me. I truly am a completely and totally a HOPELESS DOODLE ADDICT!
