Christine, I have used hairspray to remove ink from a favorite blouse. Maybe you can pump a little on a rag and see if it will remove, I wouldn't spray directly on him cause if it didn't work you would have a "punk" doodle with sticky outy hair - ha ha
He is obviously so sorry, even though Smurf Doodle is very very adorable I can see why you want it off.
Good Luck!
Oh Christine...
Those Doods can get into everything...can't they??
I'm glad that Camus is fine...and the ink with eventually fade away...
He does look adorable with his cute blue face though...Lol...
I hope "something" works...with all of the advice you got!
I would have suggested the hairspray or the gentle soap detergent...or maybe the baby wipes!
The Blue Man Group Doodle Mascot...was the first things that came to my mind...(smile)
After reading all of the posts...I see that we are all on the same page...

UPDATE.... First, I love all of your posts. I just keep laughing. Camus is now clean, almost, he just has a couple of blue spots that are not too noticeable. Dish soap worked beautifully, followed with puppy wipes and then a good rinsing. He was losing patience with my fussing over him so the little bit left will have to wear off or wait until bath time. The hair spray idea is an interesting one, because I met a woman sometime ago that mentioned how much of her dog's hair she wore. I suggested that if she was having friends over or some special occasion she could spray him with hair spray. Of course, I was kidding and this was pre-Camus, the super-shedder. Now I am rethinking... Again, thanks for all of the suggestions and the many laughs.
