What was the hmmm for? I was just wondering what your thoughts were on it? I never knew anything about German Shepard's until recently and everything I have learned about them makes me wish I had a million more lives to live so I can get one… They are amazingly loyal and protective of their people and all around great dogs.

I am not sure they are a dogs dog or the type of dog that would be loyal to all humans but from the limited knowledge I have of them they rock my socks with their loyalty.  I bet that GS would take a bullet for that child in a second…… IN fact I think it was on here recently about a GS K9 dog that was killed in the line of duty protecting their partner.

What are your thoughts?

Ha! Just wasn't sure what to put as the title! It makes me think of all the dogs who get pushed aside because "they aren't good with children". Seems like more of an owner problem. I wasn't thinking of GS in particular, all breeds suffer from this plague.

My son has a rescued Pit Bull, so I know very well how a breed can be judged. He is the sweetest, kindest, most patient dog. The picture is of my grandson, 4 yrs old. Jax is his best bud.
