If we are shouting out Thank You's have we ever really addressed Adina and Clark for all their hard work, time and creativity in starting and maintaining this great site? Maybe we have, but appreciation for a job well done could never be over stated in my opinion.

So with that said, I have always intended to say thank you and tell you that this site has made me the doodle mommy I am today. I pride myself on knowing the right information to keep my doodles healthy, happy and beautiful all from what I have gleemed from the many groups and forums.

Adina, when you were putting this together 3 or so years ago, did you ever think it would be what it is today? I have so enjoyed the friendship and compassion and genuine concern our members demonstrate on a daily basis. Not just to myself but to everyone. This site has been the highlight of many crazy, boring, sad, confusing, frustrating, happy and celebratory days in my life the last almost 3 years now and I for one am VERY thankful to both Adina and Clark for doing what they do to keep us all together,

The other day I was curious and started looking through the first pages of the discussions. I didn't recognize some but there are a lot of people still on from the very beginning.

Oh and Adina, loved the video of you talking about the contest way in the beginning! You are a great orator.

You are all super sweet and kind.  Thanks so much for thinking of us in the background.  I haven't been as active on here as I like to be.  Toddlers just don't like it when you're staring at a computer screen--more so than doodles!!!  But I check in all the time so don't think I've vanished or don't care.  I just usually have only time to read a bit here and there.  I love DoodleKisses and really everything you've learned is from one another.  I wish I could say I was the giver of all this great knowledge, but it's people like you sharing what you know, what you believe, and offering a listening ear and camaraderie that makes this place GREAT!  And of course, there's our resident experts in photography, gardening, and of course dog food (Karen!) and we truly appreciate you sharing your valuable advice. It's clearly a work of love for you too =)  Thank you for making this place awesome and friendly and so much fun!

It certainly is with good reason that you don't have much time to be on DK as much but your presence is always felt and your name is mentioned often throughout the posts. We will be missing you even more once the second baby is here. But this too shall pass and we will still be here I'm sure.

It's so funny how I could be doing all sorts of other things and N will play nicely but the moment I sit and pop open my laptop she NEEEDS me to color with her or participate in something...LOL.  It's cute.  Or maybe it's that reading and typing suck more of my attention than, say, dishes, organizing or chopping veggies.
