Well we did it we added doodle #3, Hudson is a Australian Labradoodle. I have to admit I was kinda nervous changing to a labradoodle after having two goldendoodles. We are really happy with him he is such a mommy's boy, super friendly, and just a all around happy puppy. He has become great buddies with Emmet our 10 month old gd=) They are so funny to watch play!! Our 2 year old gd is soooooo lazy, it's nice that the younger 2 have each other=)
Hi and congrats-he is just beautiful. What is his background? Is one parent an Aussie bred with a LD? Forgive me for asking, but I LOVE the look of the Aussie doodle but I have heard that they are VERY high energy dogs-even more than our GD. We would like to get another puppy soon(within 6 mths) and would be interested in your opinion.
He is soooo cute and sooo chocolate with a little white heart! Congratulations. My DH has mad me stop at two, which is probably wise or I would add one a year!
Debbie I think you are a bit confused. Australian labradoodle and Aussie doodle are different. Aussie Doodle is a cross between Australian Shepherd and Poodle ...or F1b etc..
Australian Doodles (usually know as multigen Australian labradoodles) are from a long line of doodles (multigenerational) originally bred in Australia (Tegan Park, Sunset hills, etc...) They are doodles with some cocker in them way back but no Aussie Shepherd.
Oh... Thanks!!! I was thinking of the Aussie Doodle for sure. I am fairly new to these doodle lines. These Australian doodles sound great. I am going to have to do some homework now. Thks for the info, Deb
