Jumping in shower.

My dood started jumping in the shower with me a couple of weeks ago and now she does it every time.I dont close the bathroom door when i have a shower.She will stay in the shower the whole time.Also my pug has to shave when i do.He started this when he was 2 and has to shave when i do.I thought he just wanted to see the shaver and liked the vibration of it but after i shave or pretend to shave his face he jumps up and down until i pick him up and show him how good he looks now in the mirror.He also has to see the hair in the sink.   Does anyone elses dood or other dog do these funny things?

Cooper doesnt get in with me, but she will stick her head around the shower curtain to say hi then lay down next to the tub til im done.

Dexter does the exact same thing if I let him in the bathroom while I shower...he cracks me up.  For this reason he is rarely allowed in the bathroom while I shower - I like my privacy :)

Sasha would jump in if I let her.  I have shower doors so she just licks the tracks of the shower for water, Olliver does that as well.  When Sasha sees me getting out her shampoo and towels she knows she is going in the bath tub.  She is obsesssed with WATER :)

Nope, never started letting them as we have always had ear infection concerns and I wouldn't have enough control as to how much water got into his ears. Also, rinsing him off takes forever and I use soapless shampoos on the doodles, so I wouldn't want any human products on him unnecesarily.

Plus, that's the one time of day I can be alone, and not have to share my space with doodles, so I think I will keep it as my little sanctuary.

I never understood this.... I have customers come into work all the time wanting a 100% natural shampoo for their dog (quite rightly) yet they dont use 100% natural for themselves.... If the chemicals can harm our pets, they can harm us too

I cannot believe your pug likes to be shaved.  That is so funny.  And likes to see himself afterward!

We have an open shower...no door.  She will sometimes walk right in.  Likes to get wet.  Once the soap and shampoo come out, I will usually shoo her away.

Bindi loves to get a bath but she doesn't shower with me. She will jump in when I tell her it's time for a bath. She loves anything to do with water.

LOL LOL  That is HILARIOUS!!!!  What a vision!  Hunter can't get into our bathroom or I know she would be in the bathtub every night with my girls - she is a water freak!  At least you can keep your dood clean :-)

Callie is more of a shower "observer". She'll push the curtain back with her nose so she can watch me shower and likes to lick the drops on the side of the tub.

My dood does this too ! he only did it a couple of times because he is usually in his crate while i'm in the shower because he is still a pup in training but i'm sure if he was able to he would jump in all the time. He loves to get in the tub when no one is in it too...he thinks he can dig in the tub! its too funny!
