I know this hardly seems important but I've noticed that Brady's tail fur is very sparse. His body coat is curly/wavy and also pretty fine (my daughter actually said she thinks he has alopecia!) I'm just wondering if any other Doodle Mom's find the tail fur expecially fine, 'ratty' and sparse?
how old is Brady? Coopers was rather skinny when she was younger. Also, what kind of fur does he have - if he has hair, or if he sheds it will likely be thinner. can we see a photo?
Oh I did not realize that Brady is so young. Yes, yes give it some time. I remember someone on here a long time ago saying that their tail is like a rope and one day it unravels. That is very true!
Thanks everyone ..... I found pic. #1256 here on Brady's profile page photos and it's a pretty good one of his tail. I am amazed at how many I've taken without the tail showing .... I wonder why?
Lucy has a beautiful plume. Ethel.....I don't know what to call hers. Her hair is thick fleece on her entire body and about 3 inches up her tail, then it turns into very straight horse like hair. It's strange to say the least. She is a year old, so don't know if it will change much more.
Zach's tail is less than impressive! The rest of him is wonderful though, so if it fills out great, if not - well - I'm not really impressed with my butt, yet I manage to live with it!,
Cindy ~ what a great laugh I had reading your comment! For the record the 'rest' of my Brady is also wonderful...I'm absolutely doodly crazy about him! His tail, I guess I'm just not used to after having had three standard poodles who all had docked tails. Yah...as for my butt - ditto! Thanks for your comment!
