Musical Doodles (Or am I just hearing things?)

As my laptop was waking up, Mitzi went to her water bowl and started

lapping her water to the rhythm of the chorus from "A Lion Sleeps Tonight":  A wim o way, a wim o way!   

It was so funny I had to share.  Wonder how many other doodles make music when they drink?

Sally, The only music I hear when Vern drinks is very large gulps...LOL!! Sometimes, you can't hear the TV when he is drinking. I need to start paying better attention to see if I can detect something musical the next time they drink. Thanks for the smile :)

I have notice that sometimes they scratch in time to music... but that may because I am unable to clap and hum at the same time... maybe there are not in time at all. ;o)

Hahaha that's funny!  Charlie sings when my son plays certain songs on piano, but as soon as I pay attanetion to her to see/hear, she stops!! I have been trying to video tape it, but has not been successful!!

I have often noticed that my animals have a certain rhythm when they drink, just never really caught anything "familiar" in the sound before. Silly me, must also start paying more attention!

Haha! Must be a GD thing. Bailey burps so loud, when people are over we have to clarify that it was our dog and not us! Now dont get me started on the audible toots...

hahaha - that is funny!  we do often hear some type of rhythm going on when Bruin drinks from his bowl too - haven't put a song to it yet though

Tara is not a musical drinker but I did hear her barking out "Jingle Bells" a couple times over the holidays! :)
