I saw this earlier in the week as my son goes to college at TCU and I keep up on the news in Fort Worth.  It is horrible and there has to be an especially hot place in the after life for whomever did this.  The last that I heard, the poor little thing will likely lose only two places about the size of a pea on her tongue. Bad, but it could have been much, much worse.   The people who are adopting this little girl (who has been named Hope) are high in Fort Worth society. They have eight other dogs they have adopted from shelters and live in the country.  She's had a rough start but the life she will be living from this point forward is certainly one that she more than deserves.

I am crying as I write this.  This is absolutely horrible.  I hope someone turns this person in.  I can't imagine how evil a person can be to do such a thing. Poor little dog!  I am so glad she will have a good home now.

And, as I ALWAYS state, someone that can do this to an animal, must be equally violent and horrible to humans.  These stories are unreal, and unfortunately, frequent.  I am glad he has a second chance.

My heart is just broken, thank goodness for the kind,. big hearted and determined woman put there to rescue Hope.
