No Doodle Calendars :(

I was so excited that Rooney made it into the puppy calendar that I ordered 15 calendars to give out to family, breeder, trainer, groomer and friends.  A huge order.  There was a problem with my order - my Mastercard Co. didn't like that activity as the very day I placed that order I had been buying gas from Atlanta to Florida, then the calendar order so they were suspicious - so they put a security hold on my card.  Cafe Press emailed to say the order wouldn't go through, so after verifying that these were my purchases -  MC released the security hold and then Cafe Press re-ran my order using my Am Ex card just to be sure that there was no problem.  The calendars never came.  I wanted to take them to MI with me this Monday so that I wouldn't have to pay to mail them out.  Called Cafe Press and they admitted that their agent had left my order in limbo.  They offered to express mail them to me at a discount ($60.00 for them and $30.00 for me) I told them NO - they have to pay it as I didn't cause the snaffu - Steven at Cafe Press finally agreed to that.  So now I know that I was never in the drawing :(    I sure hope that they show up in Michigan!

I now you are probably frustrated Jane, but I must admit that I am sitting her laughing.  The people at Cafe Press and the CC company were probably both thinking "Gee...this must be fraud.  No one in their right mind would order 15 doodle calendars!!"  lol  My DH made fun of me for ordering 4, I'll have to tell him about your purchase so that he stops giving me a hard time.  I hope your calendars arrive on time though and that you don't have the same problem someone else did (someone received 2011 calendar pages with the 2012 pictures).  Good luck~

Amy - I do hope that they arrive in Michigan sometime next week!  I've had the worst luck this weekend - a big ol side diamond and a piece of platinum broke off my ring and are just gone.  We don't know where or how but I noticed it last night at the dog park.  I'm just telling myself that this is all just stuff - no body is dead or dying so let it go but sometimes life is one big frustration - lol.

I lost my diamond at a school.  I was so upset that I wore a plain band with no diamonds at all for about 5 years!

That was me and they have already replaced my calendar...it arrived this week...weird huh!

That's a shame, as I bet that was one of the biggest orders of calenders! Too bad you didn't make it in the drawing. Glad to see Cafe Press is trying to make it up to you by sending express. I have always liked that company. Hope they make it to Michigan!

You were IN the drawing--at least I think you were.  I looked at orders placed within the correct dates...any cancellation must have happened later.

Thanks Adina - that at least makes me feel a little bit better - lol!!!!  But they were canceled and re-ordered the day that they came out with a delivery date given as the 17th, so I waited till today but then found out that they had taken the new order but then didn't send it to be processed.  Now I'll just be happy to get them and see one!

Jane, which calender is Rooney in? Bella is in one too and it will probably hang on my wall stuck on that month all year round.

Rooney is the August page in the Puppy Calendar.  It was a fluke photo as I can't take a good picture and now with 2 doodles won't have time to try BUT if I ever do - I'll try to see if I can get Stuart in for next year.

Sorry to hear that Jane. If it makes you feel any better I'm still waiting for my calendar too. It was sent UPS then transferred to the post office and was supposed to arrive this past Monday. But the post office sent it to DE instead of NJ!!! So it's now on it's way back to NJ. Hopefully I get it this week and hope you get yours before you leave!
