Not a great week for my puppy

Poor Chance.

First he had a bout of vomiting and diarrhea, then he ended up covered with thorns from weeds during a walk, and finally he (we) learned that he has papillomatosis.

Tomorrow he will have laser surgery to remove five lesions from his mouth, which will be sent off for path analysis. My vet thinks he will be okay, but she described several of the lesions as unusual and hence recommended the surgery.

Please send my little guy some psychic hugs. He is such a joy.

We'll say a puppy prayer for y'all for sure! He is absolutely in good hands and by that I don't mean the vets (though I'm sure they're great)... I meant YOU! It sounds like you are acting fast so hopefully it will all be over soon and because you caught it so early, won't cause any need for alarm. Keep us posted.

And oh that picture is just adorable. His ears are so funny. My daughter said "oh look a bunny puppy". Looks like the next thing on her wish list will be a bunny puppy...wherever did you find one of those? Ha!
