Such a cute puppy :)

Oh I love those puppy days!

I know how fast they grow and I am really enjoying it - especially watching how she reacts to all the new experiences - you have to wonder what is going on in their minds!!   BUT I did catch myself saying that I can't wait till she outgrows the nipping stage - it HURTS!

Myla is ultra sweet.  It looks like she has a wavy fleece coat, whatever type of coat start brushing her daily now.  Touch her all over, her ears, inside her mouth, her paws and between her pads.  Do this daily and you will have no problem when the serious grooming starts.  Riley started the coat change at 10 months and then it was serious line brushing and combing every day for three months tons of hair and some matts were removed daily.  He has completely settled down now and he doesn't shed at all.  No shed= lots of grooming.  Good luck with that gorgeous puppy X

She does look like Hattie as a puppy!  Wow, you have a wonderful organized picture gallery!  It will be interesting to see how she turns out after all the coat changes!!!!

She is a beautiful little Doodle girl!  Her coat looks a lot like my Murphy's which is a wavy fleece and pretty easy to take care of as long as I keep it pretty short.  When it gets too long it does mat.

Myla is so cute!

ADORABLE!! Love all the pics but the second one is really pretty! Congrats again.

She LOVES to play on that rope!  We hung it from the monkey bar on our swing set.

Congratulations on your darling doodle puppy.  Here is a picture of holly at about that age.  It seems that the coats are fairly similar...

Here's what she looks like as an adult...

At first we were very worried because Holly's tail was not flowing and she didn't have the beautiful doodle beard we all like.  However, her tail became flowing and she has a fine beard.  We keep her trimmed fairly short in the Summer because it is quite hot where we live.

Holly's tail is wonderful!  That is what I was kind of worried about - I LOVE a doodle tail and Myla's looks like nothing compared to all of her fur so there is hope for the tail yet!!!

Myla is adorable!  It will take more than a year for you to get a good look at what her "final" coat will be.  Luna's tail took over a year to fully fill out to "doodle tail" glory.  Now that she's almost 2 the hair on her tail is about 5" long and very full.

Here is her tail at 18 weeks and then again at about 1.5 years.  You can see how it went to a sad little "corkscrew" to a full, long tail.

Also - I think your pup will be very "doodly" indeed.  This is what Luna looked like when we brought her home at 8 weeks.  Notice the lack of "fluffiness" on her face around the eyes and the very straight body hair.  Her coat is basically that of a small golden retriever now (short, a little wavy and a smooth face/legs).
