Parker has thrown up twice this week and it is weird.
Wednesday morning at 5:30am he started making his gagging noise and then threw up a little bile but nothing major...I cleaned it up and he went back to bed and was fine all day. This morning at 3:30am he threw up again..this time a little undigested kibble, but again we cleaned it up and he has been fine since...sleeping on the bed like a lazy bum as usual.
I am not sure why he's doing this...he's not eating anything odd and his poops are still normal. After taking him to the vet before Christmas and paying $550 because he had diarrhea, I am leery about calling the vet as it has not been frequent and another $550 for him to end up being fine is not in the finances!
Does anyone have any ideas? Have your dogs done this before?

Honestly, some dogs just puke. We had a dog named Duke and called him Pukey Dukey. Unless you see more symptoms I wouldn't worry about him. Kona throws up sometimes and then he's fine for months. No rhyme or rhythm to it.
Hmmm... I will try the cookie before bed as Tigger does this occasionally. It seems to go in spells.
Winston regurgitates his food from time to time. Sophie had vomitted a few times. once she vomited a hair ball of winston's fur. gross! As long as it doesn't keep happening all the time I'd say watch and wait.
My dog is the occasional "puker" as well, no rhyme or reason either! It seems like it's usually from riding in the car or if we have fed her to much human food (especially when the kids sneak it to her). I say she does it 1-2 times a week sometimes less. Most of the time its bile and green, not to much substance.
Dex also vomits now and then for no reason. We know he has a problem with gulping his food too fast. We recently had to start putting a large toy in his bowl to slow him down and the vomiting has basically stopped. He also occasionally vomits bile and it seems to happen when his stomach is empty.
Unless it's very frequent I wouldn't be that concerned. I actually mentionned this at our last visit and the vet said she wasn't concerned.
Ollie was doing this too. Karen (on here) told me to give him a snack right before bed...so I give him a little kibble no more the 1/4 cup...and he hasn't thrown up in the morning since.
