Did you use SnugglePuppies to aid in the transition of your doods? I am thinking I will definitely buy one, but wanted to hear feedback on everyone's experience with them, as well as any good tips!

Hi, Kate.  Brulee, also, has a Snuggle Puppy...Or I should say, she has 2 puppies!  She is 14 months old and still carries her first stuffie to bed with her every night!  It finally got a little worn looking, so I got her a second one, as a back-up.  Hers is still ok, but it could wear through eventually.  So I bought an  "insurance" one !  Have fun with your new fella!  They are beyond wonderful!
Hi Ellen. She carries it with her to bed!? That is adorable! She never chewed it up?
Rooney's breeder requested that we purchase one and she used it when she did the crate training at her house.  Stuart used the same one when he first came home with me - then he chewed the nose off so I put it up.  I swear by the S.P. - they are worth every dime.
Awesome. Thanks Jane! I am for sure getting one!
AMante still uses his as a pillow. Not to mention that he has loved its face off!!
Oh my gosh, that is adorable! These sound like such wonderful inventions!!!
Kate. I didn't use one. Zach settled in really well with just a blanket and a couple of stuffed toys. But it sounds like a wonderful gift for your new pup.
Cindy, did you have your other dogs at home already when you brought Zach home?
I have 3 other dogs, so he had company (or victims - lol) from the begining. I am sure that the other dogs made the transition easier.
Yes, I'm sure it could be a bit easier for a pup to join a new home that already has some fur babies!!! Also, the fact that you are such a wonderful DogMom, probably had something to do with it. :-)

i didnt use one either and Cooper settled in just fine. The first night i got up several times to take her pee, but the second night she slept right through til about 5 am. i think alot of it depends on the personality of your pup and what training it has already at the breeders.

We did have Coopers crate in the bedroom right next to us - I think that makes a huge difference

Yes, I will for sure put the crate right by my bed. The trick will be actually leaving him IN the crate...this didn't work so well for me during crate training of my 1st dog!!! Tough love I guess!
