Someone please tell me I'm nuts

I have been searching for another goldendoodle.  I already have two, and just can't get enough.  So far I can't find any in my area, which is what I prefer this time, so I can pick it out.  My other two came from kentucky and iowa and I'm in Arizona.  I would love to have a red one, or a chocolate female F1B standard.   Stop me!

How can I stop you????  No way, if there is room in your heart for a third Doodle then I say go with it!!  ha ha  You might want to consider looking in the Southern California area.  I am not sure what my breeder who is in Alpine, CA (outside San Diego) has but if you want to contact me through the "Message" link on my page I would be happy to give you her information and website so you can check out what she has.  Since we live locally we went and visited the litter every weekend until we could bring our Gracie Doodle home!!!

Okay...I have 2 doodles and love them with all my heart...but the thought of 3 scares me in all honesty lol!  

So since you asked, I have been told by several of my fellow "dog people" that 2 dogs works....but when a 3rd is brought into the home, the "pack mentality" kicks in and things can go awry.  Quite honestly, this could be way off...although I have heard it from several reliable people.... but just some food for thought and maybe a starting point for further research!  =)  Best of luck with your decision.

Someone else told me that it's hard enough to take 2 dogs places, but 3 would be almost impossible since they are big dogs.  Right now I can take mine to outside cafes with no problem.  Could not and would not do that with three.

Good for you!   I met someone yesterday at a parade who was bicycling with a GD and he asked me if I knew of any

doodles for rescue!  I immediately told him to check out DK!   Maybe someone here could help direct him in the right direction, seems you already know it!

I also have 2 mini goldendoodles and keep looking at more. I know it's crazy and DH is against it!

If it will work for you go ahead, but don't forget to consider the how the other dogs will adjust!

I can't wait to get another one. It's all I can do not to. I've been stalking a little puppy on my breeders site since he was born. He's 10 weeks and he is still available. I just keep looking over my vet bills to remind me why one is enough for now lol. I say go for it if you have the time and money. Why not try getting a rescue? Just a thought...
