The Doodle Poop Station

I'm sure that Rooney & Stuart will be the envy of their neighborhood pals when they see their new Doodle Poop Station that daddy installed yesterday.  The Mutt Mitts are the really great bags that have the double bottom (great for those bigger poopers like Stuart) and they are degradable.  I realize that this doesn't make picking up poop any easier but it will sure make me smile while I do it and my garage won't stink!!!

That is awesome.  Where did you get it?  I think I want one.  I just power washed all our outside trash cans and soaked the bottoms with XoXo Odor Remover concentrate (which works great).  Currently they do not smell but in time they will again.  I like "the Boys" station much better.  Gracie Doodle needs one!!

Not gunna lie - little pricey but how cool is it?  The have a few choices in color and the poo bags are the best ever!  And you can get your custom sign or do as I did and buy the letters yourself.  BUT if you do it you have to post photos!!!!!!!!

We have these in the park up the street but it never even occurred to me to get one at home.  You are right though they are just a little pricey, so since DH really would like to retire in January, I think I'll stick to my 5 gallon bucket ...... This is absolutely adorable though Jane.  I certainly hope the nosey ole Home Owners Association person (every neighborhood has one) doesn't see it though as I'm guessing they would have a field day!

Lucky doodles!!!! You are so clever Jane. We thought about poop storage forever and still never changed it because every option we have thought of is "stinky" our cans are outside in the alley behind the garage but it's horrifying to open them up on a HOT day! Enjoy your poop duties!

It is funny because I raised 3 children.  Started out with cloth diapers - couldn't stand it and they had just come out with these new fangled things "disposable diapers".  Well how cutting edge was that - lol!!!  Never got this excited about poop ever.  I always knew that I had about 2 yrs with each of em and then they'd be potty trained.  Now I've got 2 doodles that I'll be picking up poop for about 15 years.  That is a lot of dog poo!!!  So my motto is be happy while I do it!  LOL  DH wanted to set the stake in concrete but I wouldn't let him - if we move - that poop station is going with ME!!!

We need this in our neighbourhood. There is a garbage bin by the tennis courts that has been designated the neighbourhood poop gin. Garbage day is on Monday, so by Sunday evening it is literally overflowing with poop bags and it stinks! We need these. I'm going to write to my city councellor about the new dog park design (not all that impressed with it) and might throw in a suggestion to get some of these around town too.
