These stories are so tragic. Dogs are so loving and accepting, how a person can treat a sweet puppy soo poorly is beyond me. Thankfully, for this puppy, it seems like this publicity will get him a new loving home. I wish all the other dogs in the shelters were as fortunate.

Adrianne, I think it's a local rescue group and it's okay. Peri's breeder sent something to her friend at Snooty Giggles and she rescues a lot of unwanted dogs in the area at the last minute, so that's probably a backup if it falls through.

I was at Petco yesterday when a woman came in with a tiny puppy wrapped in a blanket. She said she was at work and witnessed someone throwing a bag into their dumpster. She went to investigate in hopes of getting some information out of the bag to alert that person that he cannot put things in their dumpster. She opened the bag and inside was the puppy. She would have suffocated and died if not for her. How can people be so cruel??? Not sure what kind of puppy but she sure was cute. I go to Petco for class again tomorrow so I should be able to get an update.
