We have an on going discussion in the photography group. Shoot the Moon. Many of these shots were taken with a telephoto lens. Not tonight. All you need is a regular camera or even your cell phone. I'll be taking the music of Nora Jones with me ( thank you Donna). Here is the music.
There are a lot of old legions about the SuperMoon: going insane, going blind.. anyway, it is powerful.

The moon will rise at 9:35 EST tonight. The first hour or two is the best for capturing the moon.

Wow, Joanne! Is THAT what the supermoon is supposed to look like??? Dang.
Wow!! But you need the right props, a person or dog, in the right place at the right time. It doesn't even look dark in the photo.
I also stopped in Athens on my way home.
