Hi all - potentially a really stupid question - but....how do you get the odor out of your dog's collar?  Toby has a smell about him right now, and I'm pretty sure it's the collar.  We only have one collar, so I need to wash it, squeeze it dry as best I can, and put it back on.  Is there something that works best for getting dirt and scents out of the collar?

I put Darwin's nylon collar in the washing machine...
So many good ideas!  I'll have to try a few of them.  I was thinking maybe shampoo, as there must be hair oils in there?
The washing machine is your best option but definitely out it in a lingerie bag or something!
You need to join "Ring Around The Collar" group.  Also, if your Doodle is wet a lot (as is mine) then you might want to invest in a Dublin Collar.  They are a rubber type material and are called "Stinkless" collars.  The come in a variety of designs.  My Gracie Doodle owns about 6.  We have Christmas and St. Patrick's day ones in our collection!!!
Washing machine!
i usually just was it in the sink with soap then spray Natures Miracle on it
