Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I love to see other parts of the world but have no funds to travel right now. I'd love to see where you guys walk your doodles. That way I can live vicariously. Post a photo in the comments, it would be nice but not necessary if your doodle was in the photo. You can share as much as you feel comfortable about the location.
Here's one of my favorite trails. It is in NY state a little bit north of NYC. It is a narrow trail that runs along the Hudson River with the Palisades cliffs right next to the path. So pretty, so quiet. This path can get really crowded. I usually prefer to walk alone in the middle of the woods. I may have to try to get a photo on one of our usual desolate hikes.
That is me and my doggy. Notice the loose leash??? It's a work in progress. :)
So where do you walk your doodle?

So special and so close to you.
Wow, that's a lot for you : )
................. Moving to Canada.
Just gorgeous!!!
What an absolutely beautiful place to live.....
Some day Donna, some day and I can't wait!
This photo is taken at the park closest to my house and we go here almost every day...right at this spot there are usually lots of squirrels. Duncan's favorite sighting of course
This photo is taken along the boardwalk on staten island where i live. That's the Verrazano Bridge behind us. While we enjoy walking during the summer months it's more fun in the winter when there aren't many other people around. Duncan enjoys the cold ocean breeze and just "dabbling" in the sand.
And lastly, we recently went on an organized dog and human hike (hike and hound) Tuxedo NY (this is Pine Meadow Lake) It was the most fun we've had off leash. 8 miles of off leash hiking with about 5 other dogs. So picturesque.
These spots all look nice. Where do you find the hikes? 8 miles is too long for us, do they have shorter ones?
i went with a company called Outdoor Bound. www.outdoorbound.com. They usually do 6 mile hikes. this one was 8 because everyone agreed it was ok to make it a little longer. but we stopped a few times and had a nice picnic lunch at the lake.
Thanks. It sounds like fun.
Love that b&w photo!
