Xmas Card Exchange -- Please Share Your Picture! UPDATED

Listening to you all talk about starting to receive your Xmas cards always makes me so sad.  The reason that I never join the group is because the most stressful thing that I do all year is to try and get a descent picture for their Christmas Card.  I of course make it more difficult because I want there to be snow and I want my decorations up to try and use in the pictures.  I wait for the first snow, I take hundreds of pictures, and with each bad picture I stress a little more.  Always made more difficult because the snow will always come through the week, it is dark out by the time DH gets home, and I have to try and do these with two dogs by myself.  Finally, I decide that I've just run out of time and I have to use something that I have.  My girls aren't real cooperative when the camera comes out which makes it even more difficult.  Oh, and I forgot to mention I'm terrible with a camera.  So, I didn't get my pictures done in time to join a group, but I still wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and share Lucy & Sophies card!  I've included 2 cards.  The one with both of them we will be using for the Residents and staff at the Ohio Veteran's Home and the one of just Sophie we will be using for the Patients and Staff at the Mercy Hospital where just Sophie visits!  I also still have a few that I haven't gotten done yet that will be for our Foster families.

 

So, I'd love to see some others even though I didn't get my act together in time to join!  Will you share with me.UPDATE:  I'm updating to include the picture I finally finished today for the families of the Doodles we fostered this year, along with the girls picture with Santa today!  Thanks so much to everyone for posting your pictures I'm having a great time seeing them!

Awwww! These are so great! I cheated and used a picture from JULY and went to picnik.com and added xmas doodads. And big red noses!

Okay L&S's momma....no excuses next year!  You can't bow out of the exchange merely for lack of snow/santa/tree =)  Do I have to make it an official DK rule?

I would think that next year I could use a pic from this winter time (if I had too) as there shouldn't be much difference in the way Sophie looks, but last Winter she still had her really long hair as she didn't get her 1st haircut until like March or April of this year, so I wanted a new picture.  Lucy hasn't changed much, but it is easier to get a good pic of her in the snow because of her Color!  So, I promise, next year I'll sign up!

Your cards are beautiful!! Lucy & Sophie look like they cooperated very well - much better than our 2 girls! I see no reason for stress in these photos! Hope you have a wonderful holiday!!

ALL these Doodle cards are absolutely amazing!  DK'rs certainly are a clever bunch, and "our models" just couldn't be any cuter.  Great job everyone!
