Does your doodle have any odd routines that you find entertaining (or annoying)?
Share them! I would love to hear about how other peoples' little creatures of habit go about their day. Photo evidence is a plus!
Here are a few of Luna's:
- Before she goes to sleep in her own bed, she demands some cuddle time up on her bed. She can't get up there herself, so she stands on her hind legs and paws at the covers until the skyhook (tall 2-legged dog) takes her up.
- She MUST go outside before her morning meal, but doesn't do anything. She just stands on the deck for 5 seconds and comes back in. (2 months and 8 months, same spot)
- Before coming all the way down the stairs, she ALWAYS sits in this spot and has to be tempted down further with the promise of play, food or interesting kitchen noises: (4 months and 8 months.. same spot and yes - she always sits like that)

I love these pictures! Her little routines are so cute and funny!
Tara's habit, which used to be cute but is quickly becoming annoying takes place when DH turns on the water in the shower. Tara will come and stare at me (in the living room) and growl. Then I MUST say "Where is Daddy?" Then she takes off down the hall usually with a toy in her mouth and barking at the same time (WTD?) I MUST follow. Once we get to the bathroom DH has to stick his hand out of the shower so she can lick a couple of drops of water off of it and then she picks up her toy and prances happily back to the living area. Sorry, I tried to get a picture for you but DH said "NO WAY!" LOL!
Oh come on - tell him he needs to be a team player!!!!! LOL
Haha, that sounds really funny!
What is it with shower water? Is it because it's tiny drops that they love it so much? I have no idea.
Luna waits for us on the bath mat outside the shower so she can lick the drops off our legs/feet when we come out... She looks VERY disappointed if you take the towel into the shower to avoid the lickfest and dry off before coming out.
If Rooney see me with the leash in hand to go out to potty - he always has to do a stretch first in the play bow position - like he is limbering up to pee. He also has to greet you with something in his mouth, right now his fav thing to give to guests is a poop bag (I keep them in a big basket by the front door).
Stuart's only quirk so far is that he doesn't want to move, as in the morning we will all be getting up and you have to go drag him off the bed, or at the end of a car ride you have to drag him out of the car seat - he just won't budge.
Love the pictures, too funny.
