Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Welcome to The Aussiedoodle Group - Where we love to share photos, experiences, concerns, laughs, and so much more about our ADs. A group where we understand the proud ownership you feel about these amazing furry creatures. We also understand that though the AD is a doodle cross, it has a unique set of features from its Golden and Labrador cousins.
About The Breed
Aussiedoodles are Australian Shepherd and Poodle cross, NOT Australian Labradoodles
Aussiedoodles are very consistent in their shaggy Looks, and typically very low to no shedding. They are very smart. They are Like Little children with Hair, You just can't go wrong
They are popular as Service and/or Therapy dogs due to their trainability, Caring and eager to please personality. Specifically, many are used as Diabetic Alert Dogs.
Their sizes are much easier to predict as both Australian Shepherds and Poodles come in 3 sizes, Miniature, Moyen, and Standard.

Just wondering if anyone is still in this group. I have not noticed any recent posts. I'm about to get an Aussidoodle and it would be nice to talk with other aussiedoodle owners.

I don't know much about breeders but I follow Dreamy Doodles on facebook and they seem very honest and responsive. https://www.facebook.com/DreamydoodlesNW
Hi- we are trying to contact breeders and getting no response. We have done a lot of research and want an Aussiedoodle for a number of reasons - including allergies and therapy dog tendencies. We are in Vancouver and found one in Portland but they wont return emails. We like their philosophy about how they breed, but no luck. Any advice on choosing and finding a lovely puppy for a family of 5 is greatly welcomed. We were hoping to get one in August so my daughter could start to train it in the summer. But no luck.
thanks for any help you can provide. Check out my daughter's dog blog at www.dogblogforeveryone@weebly.com - She is just 12 and dog mad!
Good work Nick!
Hi Nick! The site looks great. I haven't been on here in about a year but I'll have to start checking it more often. My little guy is three years old now and hands down the best dog I've ever owned. He's so smart and good with my kids. When they are sick he doesn't leave their side. I can see why they are used for therapy dogs. Thanks again for updating the site. Tanner is a cutie! He reminds me a lot of Percy.
Ronda - what a cutie pie!
