You got some great pictures! You can tell Ari really enjoys the water! And he is such a sweet, beautiful doodle! Next year, hopefully Toby can follow Ari around and learn to swim! :-) We actually left early because Toby refused to go back in the water. I think it was too overwhelming for him considering it was the first event he had ever attended. I love the way you included pictures of Ari on the way home. He looks pretty tired out and almost sad that such a fun day is over with!

It was very nice to meet Kari and Ari at the Dog Days of Summer Event. Ari is quite the handsome guy! I guess Toby is not a swimmer, didn't like it in the water, but we still had fun. I think his favorite place to hang was in front of Daisy's treat booth, trying all the homemade treats!

Looking forward to seeing you there. We have taken Toby to the lake a couple of times, but he is fearful of getting in the water. Hopefully he will follow some playmates into the shallow pool to splash around. I really don't expect to enter the contests, just going for fun. We don't have any doggie beaches or pools around that I could take him to, so I guess he hasn't been exposed enough to swimming. Hopefully, though, he will enjoy splashing around!

We are planning to attend the Dog Days of Summer event this weekend in Trenton. Are any of you planning to be there? It looks like a lot of fun! :-)
