He did great. He knows Maren very well. She was our puppy trainer. He ran in open because we are a very novice team and we were more experienced than some other green dogs. It was so much fun. I love in doors. There is a Nadac trial indoors in late August on the west coast of Florida. I will send you the information if you want.

Congrats Lori.....second place in jumpers. Running indoors spoils you doesn't it???? I really look for indoor trials now.
Ellen....sorry about your foot....How did Oliver do with a different handler??

Oliver and I were at Dacof this past weekend. My friend Maren ran him because I had a broken foot and couldn't run. It was lots of fun. My team did not do as well as yours but we still had tons of fun.

Thanks Lori.....We had a really good time. I really liked the indoor turf. It was at an indoor soccer facility in Birmingham, Ala. It was sooooo clean for a change.
I know you will enjoy the indoor trial. Where is your trial this weekend?

Here is a link to our VERY FIRST AKC run this past weekend. Parris qualified and got 1st place in 5 out of 6 runs. She earned her NAJ title and has one more Q to get her Novice Standard title. I was so proud of my doodle!!!

Thanks, unti, he fell off, Wisnton did turn around on the Dog walk. I will work with the blank this week and see if we can move forward. He was having such fun, I don;t want him to lose that. Plus he was picking up everything really fast, and wer didn't really practice between classes.

I had him had the mall after class and there are a lot of planters that are large and have seating around them ( about 2+ feet off the ground) so I had Winston jumping up and walking around on them. He was fine; I will try the plank and see what happens. I think it is the look that made him translate the fall over to the A-frame?? I can't think why else the A-frame would all of a sudden become a problem. I will try the high value treats, that worked for the tunnel issue. But sure wasn't working last Saturday.

Hi, Winston is in his second level fun agility class and we have been having a good time. Because he is tall the tunnel at first gave him some problems, but all is well with a little extra training.
Now there is a problem with the dog walk and A-frame. He fell off the dog walk two weeks ago and will now (this last Saturday) not get on it or the A-frame. We let it pass this last class and just do the rest of the run. How would you go forward with regaining his confidence on the equipment? His contact on the A-frame was great and he seemed to really like it.

Darwin isn't officially an agility doodle yet, but we are starting him at the end of June. We'll enroll him in a class most likely, and the new place I'm moving actually has a fenced in dog park with agility equipment we can practice on. I'm excited!
