Joanne, I just read your 6/17 comment. I want at least two pairs of flea market shorts. I will let you know the size after I follow Adina's diet.

The Round Top, Texas, show is a fantastic experience! In fact, surrounding towns get involved, too, and you can find vendors all up and down the highways. At Round top you will find everything from high-end, museum-quality antiques to rummage-sale junque. There is something for everybody--and they usually have great food vendors, too. Love the frozen lemonade and pecan squares!
If you're planning a trip, in my experience, the weather is better for the October show than the April show. But you're always welcome in Texas, any time! Y'all come!

Laurie, Love your name, by the way....are you anywhere near the Round Top Texas Antique show? I love antiques, but I am getting to the point if I buy something, I have to figure out where to put it, so I have been going less and less. I would love to go to that Round Top show. How exciting to find a houseful of treasures :)

I love flea markets tho' I am not real great about antiques. I used to live in France and a dear friend inherited her dad's house. They found all kinds of treasures in the attic and a box of gold coins under the floorboards. I am learning little by little however as I go flea marketing about twice a month. For me, I love the chance to meet such colorful people and especially the old timers here in East Texas. I always felt I want to compile a book of stories and just stuff in general. I do end up buying stuff tho'. So, I am learning.
