Does anywhere know of a good location? Maybe Sandy Springs/Dunwoody? If we could turn it into a fall romp and get a good number of people to attend, I think a DRC raffle would be a great idea. I'm sure I can come up with something to donate from my work (it won't be doodle related, but could be cool!). I could probably donate some DRC doggie bandanas and they could be sold as a fundraiser at the event.

I like that idea. Frannie you are soooo good! I can supply the pupcakes and other doggie type treats. We could do some sort of raffle to support DRC maybe. We need a good central location.

What if we did a doodle halloween party in October (this is in addtion to the get together this coming weekend)? We could have a costume contest, goodie bags, longest sit/stay contest (Callie will fail this epically), hot-dog bobbing, pupcakes, etc.

I'd love to help plan this, but I don't have the space to actually host it.

Unfortunately, I'm out this Sunday - going to the North GA State Fair. Would love to get together soon though, esp if this weather EVER stays cool!

K, who is ready for a September romp before the month is gone? Any suggestions on a meeting place? Would Sat the 25th or Sunday afternoon the 26th better?
